How can I get a copy of the Sculpt Six Day Eating Plan?

The Sculpt Six Day Eating Plan is available from the Sculpt product page.  Click here to go to the page - the icons for all our Sculpt downloads, including the Six Day Plan are on the right hand side under the Nutritional Information.

Can I have Sculpt instead of a meal?

Yes, but Sculpt is designed to assist you to eat more regularly, not just replace meals and cut calories. Dramatic calorie restriction is one of your biggest enemies when it comes to losing fat, as it slows down your metabolic rate and results in a yo-yo weight effect – one of the biggest pitfalls of ‘dieting’. We recommend you use Sculpt as part of your eating plan to eat five or six smaller, portion managed meals throughout the day, rather than thinking of using Sculpt ‘instead of’ lunch or dinner. Replacing your normal meals with a shake can work in the short term but is not an effective strategy for long term, healthy body weight management.

How long will it take before I see results with Sculpt?

Sculpt is not about dramatic, rapid changes in your body shape, but instead is a nutritional tool that you can use to help you get the body shape you want. If you are interested in fat loss, the positive effects of using Sculpt can become apparent quickly, in as little as two weeks. There are no typical results, however, and Sculpt can work in many different ways depending on the individual woman. The results you achieve and the time it takes will ultimately rest with you and how you manage your lifestyle, eating and exercise plans.

Why does Sculpt contain an artificial sweetener?

A very small amount of artificial sweetener is used to produce a delicious tasting, enjoyable product. Sweetening the products with natural sugars would produce this same effect but add extra carbohydrates, and would mean Sculpt offers you less protein. In addition, natural carbohydrates are more easily and more beneficially contributed by other food sources in your diet, so do not need to be added in significant quantities to Sculpt. Sculpt does not use a ‘natural’ form of intense sweetener such as stevia, as this ingredient has not been approved for use in foods under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

Is Sculpt gluten free?

The Sculpt range of products - powders, RTD's, bars and capsules are all gluten free.  Please note that Raspberry Chocolate Dream flavour Sculpt bars do contain wheat fibre (which does not have any gluten present), so should be avoided by those with a wheat allergy.

Which artificial sweetener does Sculpt contain?

Sculpt Powder and RTD uses an approved food additive called Acesulphame K (trade name Sunnett). The additive code number for this sweetener is 950. For more information about this sweetener, visit www.caloriecontrol.org/acesulf.html

Is it OK for a man to use Sculpt?

Whilst formulated with a woman's needs in mind, Sculpt will certainly not cause your average guy any harm at all! However, Horleys would recommend a product like Horleys Essential Protein is better suited to his requirements.

I'm pregnant (or breast-feeding) – is it OK to use Sculpt?

Horleys do not recommend women who are pregnant or breast feeding use Sculpt. Due to the special and intricate role a mothers nutrition plays for her baby's health, we advise that any supplements containing appetite suppressants, stimulants or concentrated quantities of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients should not be consumed whilst pregnant or breast feeding.

Please note, the Sculpt range of products do not contain any ingredients harmful to either mother or baby.  Many women do choose to continue using the products whilst pregnant and/or breast feeding as a supplement their energy and protein intake.

Is Sculpt Ready to Drink the same as the powder?

Sculpt RTD is a ready to go product that contains exactly the same quality protein sources as Sculpt powder - whey protein concentrate and soy protein isolate - with the advantage of having the low fat milk already added. The protein and carbohydrate content is a little lower than the Sculpt powder you might make up with milk yourself, but Sculpt RTD makes up for this by being an ultra convenient solution to help you with nutrition on the go. Sculpt RTD does not contain the full range of vitamins and minerals as some of these can often be lost in the processing of a ready to drink product and may also deteriorate on storage. As Sculpt prefers to guarantee you the contents of a package, these ingredients were deliberately not included. A source of calcium (derived from milk) was included as calcium is a stable mineral in this product.

I don't like milk – can I make a Sculpt shake with water?

Yes, but note that Sculpt has been formulated to be made with milk due to the creamy texture and added calcium benefits of milk (milk calcium also assists absorption of the calcium in Sculpt). When Sculpt is made with water the flavour will not change but the resulting shake will have a thinner texture and some may find it less filling.  Sculpt can also be made with milk alternatives such as Rice milk and Soy milk, which can give Sculpt the same creamy texture when made with dairy milk.
