Sculpt is a nutritional supplement that can help you take control of your body shape and eating plan. More than just a range of products, Sculpt is about getting the body you want without giving up the lifestyle you love. We believe in focusing on what you can do rather than what you can't – changing the things you can control, like your behaviour towards food. We want you to have the clever tools and inside information that guarantees you can maintain your results long term.

A Few New Habits  = a New You!
Your current food habits are probably not all that terrible when you look at them individually.  We'd like to gently suggest that when you add them all up you’ll find most of the reason why you're not satsified with your current body shape.  There are two key principles that our philosophy and Sculpt product range work with:

  • Energy Balance. The amount of calories you eat must be less that the amount you burn in order to force your body to draw on stored fat as an energy source.
  • Metabolic Rate. Boosting your metabolism is the absolute key to losing fat and keeping it off. It also positively influences energy levels and helps you live life in a higher gear.

Sculpt is here to help you manage your calorie intake but here are the key things you can do to positively influence your metabolism:

Eating regularly keeps your calorie-burning potential and energy levels at an optimum level - eat 5 or 6 small meals daily

  • Eating frequently actually uses energy to digest food
  • You can easily avoid cravings and binge eating if you don't allow your blood sugar levels to drop too far.  Go no more than 3 hours without a proper snack
  • Put a little effort into planning your daily food intake, it makes all the difference to have the right food handy when you're trying to break poor habits

Protein is more satiating than carbohydrate - it makes you feel full for longer, and helps slow the release of sugars to your bloodstream - eat a portion of protein in every meal

  • Protein requires more energy to digest than carbohydrates or fats
  • When exercising regularly, inadequate protein intake can result in a loss of muscle mass.  That's the opposite of what you want

Irregular food intake slows metabolism as your body tries to conserve the amount of fuel it burns - avoid skipping meals or resorting to 'cabbage soup'-type diets

  • Low calorie diets put the body into ‘survival mode’ - when you go back to eating normally, you're much more likely to gain what you lost (and some) as your body overcompensates for the deprivation you just subjected it to

Increase muscle tone/density – muscle is our body's most active tissue. Toning your muscles will help keep your metabolic rate high and increases the amount of stored fat you can burn (even when you're sitting still)

  • Get a new habit - regular exercise that includes resistance training (lifting weights)
  • Recovery properly and banish the munchies by having a protein shake as soon as you've finished exercising
